Jacqueline Shelton has been an educator for over 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Special Education and a Master of Education, Supervision and Administration from McNeese State University, and also has her Master Plus 30 Graduate hours.
With a background in English and Special education (serving as Special Education and an English teacher for 18+ years), she has a vast background in the needs of our scholars.
Ms. Shelton has been in administration since 2006, serving in the capacity of graduation coach, Assistant Principal, and most recently (March 2014) Principal.
Ms. Shelton believes that all children can succeed with the combined effort of the scholar, the parent/guardian, and the school staff. She expects nothing less than the best from each one of her scholars.
